That confuses many straight men, because when men talk to each other we tend to put forward the message that liking anything that involves other men or penises is gay. So if the pattern is that seeing penises on video means the body needs to get ready for sexual activity, then it will start to respond to that as a cue. It could just as easily be a bell if a bell rang, as Pavlov demonstrated. And just like any conditioned response, conditioned responses to the sight of penises on video will go away when they are no longer a valid predictor of sexual activity. It’s all temporary when you want it to be temporary.
So what would it look like if you were gay? People who are gay are aroused by masculine bodies. Hairy, muscly, mustached, masculine bodies. Gay people will commonly enjoy female-to-male transexuals like Buck Angel, even though Buck Angel has a vagina, because they like Buck’s hairy muscly shape body turn’s them on. Contrast that to sissy hypno. You won’t see Buck Angel being an enticing image used in sissy hypno, because the content is geared toward straight people.
People have different ideas about what it means to be gay. Sometimes what people mean is a man who does anything sexual with another man. That’s a valid definition, but it’s not the definition I use, because that definition would include homeless drug addicted men who were paid to have sex with men. Obviously motivation for having sex with men is important. If people engage with it because they like to pretend they’re a woman, that’s not gay in the same way gay people are gay. If they’re groomed and conditioned to like it, that’s still not gay in the same way that someone who is born gay is gay. If you weren’t born gay, then it’s more useful to think of your sexual impulses towards men as conditioned or fantasy-based, in either case they can go away when you build new habits of mind and new sexual habits. The whole reason you’ve found yourself wondering about these things is because you’ve seen how flexible the human mind can be. That flexibility can also be used to re-ground yourself in your natural sexuality, so your sexuality can be enjoyed in alignment with your wider life and goals.
